Het Begijhof, probably founded in the 14th century, is a bit of a miniature village in the centre of Amsterdam. A little version of Amsterdam within the very city itself. Of course I could write an essay here about this little piece of heaven, but I’ve decided to not giving it all away. You just have to pay a visit to this beautiful and silent gem of Amsterdam. Go see it for yourself.

The inside of the chapel is a must see too, so go and enjoy a concert when you get the chance.
